Frequently asked questions
- How far apart should driveway lights be?
- Far enough to avoid a runway look — usually 12 to 18 feet on alternating sides, adjusted to curves and planting. The goal is a rhythm of soft pools, not a continuous strip.
- Can you light a long private drive without a lot of fixtures?
- Often, yes. Uplighting trees along the drive throws far more usable light and looks better than doubling the path-fixture count.
- Do you handle gates and columns?
- Yes. We light pilasters, gate columns and address plaques, and coordinate with your gate contractor when power and low-voltage runs share a trench.
